What we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, who processes it, and how to have it deleted.

Who we are
NICKOVA Digital is a two-person digital marketing studio based in Bangalore, India. For anything in this notice, write to nickovadigital@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 91804 37718.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you type into a form: name, business name, phone, email (optional), website (optional), the service you selected, and your message.
- Chat messages you send to the assistant, plus the reply. Please do not send passwords, card numbers, identity documents or other sensitive data through chat.
- Technical data needed to run the service: the page you submitted from, your browser type, the time, and a one-way hash of your IP address used for abuse prevention. We do not store the raw IP with the enquiry.
- WhatsApp messages if you choose to continue there. WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own terms.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a scope or quote.
- To keep a record of enquiries so nothing is lost between calls.
- To prevent spam, abuse and repeated automated submissions.
We rely on your consent when you tick the consent box and submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and keeping the site secure.
Who processes it
- Hosting: our web host stores the site and the enquiry records.
- AI assistant: messages sent to the chat are processed by our AI provider (OpenRouter and the selected model provider) to generate a reply. Do not use chat for confidential information.
- Email: enquiry notifications are delivered through our email provider.
- WhatsApp: only if you choose to continue the conversation there.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months from the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Chat rate-limit and budget counters: 30 days; they contain counts and hashed identifiers, not message text.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It stores your light/dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. That value stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the enquiry data we hold, or to stop contacting you. Email nickovadigital@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are in a jurisdiction with a data protection authority, you may also complain to that authority.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Enquiry records are stored outside the public web root where the host allows it, and access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; please avoid sending sensitive documents through the website.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
