Every business wants to rank higher on Google. Very few have a plan that survives contact with reality. Rankings are an outcome - the work underneath them is technical health, useful content, local signals, and reputation earned over time.

Here is the plan we follow for Indian businesses, in order.

Understand how ranking actually works

Google tries to show the most useful result for a query. That means relevance (does the page answer the search), quality (is the site trustworthy and well-built), and experience (does the page load quickly and work on a phone). Chasing tricks without these foundations produces temporary results at best.

Fix the technical foundation first

Start with crawlability and page structure: a clean sitemap, a robots file, canonical tags, one clear heading per page, descriptive titles and descriptions, internal links, image alt text, and structured data where it helps. These are unglamorous, they are quick to verify, and they are the reason many sites never rank at all.

Build pages worth ranking

Write one useful page per service, and answer the questions customers actually ask. A page that explains process, pricing ranges, timelines and trade-offs will out-perform a page full of superlatives. Cover the topic properly instead of publishing thin pages for every keyword variation.

Strengthen local signals

For businesses serving a city or a catchment, local SEO is often the fastest win: an accurate Google Business Profile, consistent business information across the web, genuine reviews, location context on the site, and pages that mention the areas you genuinely serve.

Earn links naturally

Links still matter, but earned links matter more than bought ones. Partnerships, associations, suppliers, local press, useful tools, and genuinely good content attract links without risking penalties. Avoid bulk link packages - they are the fastest way to waste money.

Measure what matters

Track enquiries and qualified conversations, not just positions. Rankings move daily; business results compound over months. Review search queries, landing pages and conversion paths monthly, and make the next change based on evidence.

How long does it take?

Technical fixes can show impact in weeks. Competitive search terms usually take months of consistent work. Anyone promising otherwise is selling certainty they do not have. The businesses that win treat SEO like maintenance - continuous, measured, and honest.
